mTekka has helped Pepco Holdings, Inc (holding company for DelMarVa Power, Atlantic Electric and Pepco Power) with a $3M SAN migration project. The scope of the project was to purchase 2 VMAX's, 4 Cisco 9513's with 480 8GB ports per switch, migrate the old fabric to the new Cisco 9513's and migrate 600TB of data from 2 legacy EMC DMX-4's to 2 EMC VMAX's across multiple regions.

mTekka was integral in the architecture and engineering of the new fiber infrastructure and data replication techniques. We provided professional services to perform all fiber migrations from 4gbit Cisco MDS 9513's to the latest generation 8gbit Cisco MDS 9513's. The fabric migration to the new switches was performed with no impact to their production environments.
